*Sold Out* Came So Far For Beauty: A Leonard Cohen Tribute

No one who saw Leonard at Sandalford winery when he restarted touring in 2009 (at the age of 74!) will ever forget it. It was sublime. Nick Turner saw him then and indeed all three times he returned to Perth.  And years before that, he kept himself alive busking his way round Europe and across America playing Leonard’s songs.   The Secret Chords seek to capture the wonderfully rich and joyful atmosphere of those last gigs,  but also the feeling so many of us got when we listened to a darker, more spartan Leonard in our bedrooms in our early teens.
